The Rimdahl Scale

The Rimdahl scale measures how Forest-Friendly a tea plantation is by studying soil quality and biodiversity among plants and insects.

In the future, we aim to use this grading scale as a way to provide different price points of our tea, and to show farmers how they can increase the price of their tea by following the scale which is ranked from 1-5 with 1 being a conventional tea plantation and 5 being completely wild tea, never planted by human hands and growing deep in the forest.

By promoting reforestation efforts, tea farmers can progress along this scale and receive higher prices for their tea than they used to, all while acting as guardians of the forest.
